-1 is not a valid post status.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Status
These are the valid post statuses.
I guess i have even given you calculation yesterday.
I found total 114 posts that has values -1 in Places post type. You have 1026 Published listing. All listing 1140. 1026 + 114 = 1140.January 11, 2017 at 10:34 am #340786This reply has been marked as private.January 11, 2017 at 10:58 am #340790So what this suggests to me is that the ‘missing’ 114 posts aren’t actually missing at all?
Yes
Its better you let me update the post_status and then test. You are not going to lose any data. So don’t worry.
January 11, 2017 at 11:29 pm #341210Hi Giri – in that case then please update the post_status to test…
Thanks
January 12, 2017 at 9:00 am #341328Hi there,
I have updated the post_status.
Draft tab can be seen now

January 12, 2017 at 9:42 am #341335Hi Giri – I’ve had a look at the ‘drafts’ but I’m not sure what that list is actually showing me…it’s bringing up posts that apparently have no addresses, no images and in some cases haven’t been assigned categories yet these same posts are actually published and visible in the correct format on the website? (if you check these posts in the ‘published’ list then they are there with all fields populated correctly). It seems like these posts have somehow been duplicated when the theme was updated?
I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m still no closer to identifying which posts have not been published?
Thanks
January 12, 2017 at 3:01 pm #341440Hi ttkadmin,
In the beginning your concern was missing posts. I helped you to find those culprits 🙂
You have to tell me how do you want me to proceed.
If you feel those draft posts are just duplicates and added by your theme, then i think we should delete them.
Please take a backup and let me know.
I’ll use a query to delete those drafts.
If you want me to proceed in some other way, let me know.
Thanks
January 13, 2017 at 9:29 am #341975Hi Giri – in the beginning I thought that the missing posts and the unpublished posts were related (a reasonable assumption) but as you’ve shown this is not the case.
To be honest I don’t know how to proceed which is why I’m seeking help on the support forum 😬
At this stage I’m happy to ‘ignore’ those duplicated/draft posts that have been identified as my key concern now is identifying those posts that are showing as published but aren’t and are not showing as part of those ghost posts…
What would be your solution for detecting these? e.g. is it worth checking the status/attributes of the post that we know is experiencing these issues (Cockington Green Gardens) and then trying to work out other posts which may be the same?
Thanks
January 13, 2017 at 11:44 pm #342309Hi,
Giri will be on vacation all next week. If you do a recap of the problems left, we will try to take over and assist. (currently I honestly don’t understand what’s left to solve)
Let us know,
Thanks
January 14, 2017 at 4:20 am #342353Hi Paolo – thanks, I will send you a recap in a PM…

It seems somewhere along the line something has corrupt a few listings, this might have happened on import?
This is what i recommend you do (not in Excel):
GD>Import/export>export all your places to a csv file and keep it safe, then duplicate it and look for any problem posts, for example i see some with blank “post_status” i would check if this is a duplicate or not and if so remove that row and if not set it as “publish” like the rest. Also i sees some post with blank titles, you might want to look over those also and fill in any missing info.
You can then import the CSV to fix the problemsIf you have any questions just ask 🙂
Thanks,
Stiofan
