    Hi,

I have made 60-70 categories, with icon names, in a CSV file, and they are importing correctly. Using the Cat_font_icon and icon_color fields I was expecting that during the import process, the icons would be created. This doesn’t seem to be happening, and when I import my categories, no icon appears.

When I edit the category and then ‘update’, the icon is created. Clearly I don’t want to have to do this 70 times as it takes a while.

How can i force the creation of all of these icons?

    thanks, Richard

    Hello,

import will not automatically create the map icons, they will need to be saved individually and then the icons will be created.

I have added this is a feature suggestion and the developers will consider it for future versions.

ok that’s a bit disappointing. Hope that functionality comes soon. thank you for looking.

Similarly with CSV import, I notice that all the businesses show a blank for their ‘image’ in the businesses list, even when they do have an image saved. This makes it hard to troubleshoot which posts did not load their image on import correctly.

Is there something going wrong with how the images are listed in my settings?

Example “Carolina’s” – no image shown in the list, yet when you edit the post, there is an image there. thank you

    Hello,

Images that are imported as a filename.jpg do not get a thembnail.

In the future you can import with https://my domain.com/filename.jpg and it will be imported and processed into a thumbnail.

if better I can start a new thread with this latest query. Whilst I believe it is all related to the same issue (CSV import not working properly) it is a different issue to the main query. Let me know and I’ll repost. thanks

    Hello,

Images that are imported as a filename.jpg do not get a thumbnail for the post list in the backend. The file imports just fine, otherwise.

After you import listings run the Term Counts tool to update counts.

GD – Status – Tools – Term Count – Run
