I’m ok with the idea that only registered users should be able to post reviews. However, I’d like to know if it’s possible to disable or hide the post author email address in reviews. Some individuals may not feel comfortable reviewing a place if their email address is public.

At the moment I am experimenting with Geodirectory to see how it might fit my needs.I sent an example review and this is what it looks like in the Review tab for the place.

That is the username displayed. If you choose a normal username instead of an email address as username, you should not have that trouble.

    Example at http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/chicago/3-stars/acme-hotel/#reviews

Thanks very much for the info. Can you please tell me where/how I set/select to use the username instead of the email in posting reviews.

    Hi,

when registering we require email and full name. The full name part is used in reviews, they should simply avoid reporting the email address where we request the full name.

    Please see image attached.

    Thanks
