Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to make Newspaper 9 theme a little more compatible with Geodirectory as it’s a badass plugin to monetize blogs. I’m trying to figure out how to get the listings to simply inherit the design/css of blog post lists throughout the site. Is there anyway to do that?

Here is the home page: https://thevegaspost.com/
    Here’s a link to listing page page:https://thevegaspost.com/businesses/

*You’ll notice I removed “post content” from the listings items because it makes everything look like shit with varying text sizes. I wish it could just be a brief like a normal blog post.*

Also, my theme panel will not allow me to save changes since adding in GD plugins to the mix. Is there any way to fix this? I’d really like to not have to switch themes or directory plugins.

If you can’t do anything at all, can you please refer me to the best news style theme that works with GD? Thanks in advance for your time.

P.S. I attached a screenshot of listings I placed in the sidebar of a main content page. I’m hoping you can also tell me how to make the second lines of the title not be so far away from the top one. Thank you!!!

There are 2 ways to do that.

    1) Rewrite the output of GeoDirectory using the same HTML structure of the Theme. You’d need to copy all plugin templates within the theme and basically rebuild them all (Quite complex)

    2) Adapt GD through CSS to look like the Theme posts, without altering the HTML (A bit less complex)

    Thanks

I am still unable to view the site. Please remove country restrictions.

For the listings in the sidebar you probably need to adjust the line height using custom CSS. Same for adding a border or bolding.

    See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    I was able to login.

I do not see any particular issues. The details, search, and archive pages are all working as expected.

That literally has nothing to do with what I asked for. Installation of the GD plugin has caused my theme to not be able to save any changes in the theme panel. Is there any way to fix this? I get you’re saying the design errors are my problem but I feel like there shouldn’t be a problem saving my theme in literally any capacity. I mean, if I could save the theme I will likely use GD for years to come. Seems like it would be more profitable for the company for you guys to just help me out with this. Please advise.

Oh, sorry, I just forgot to type that as I was busy looking for display issues on the frontend.

Please provide a link to the panel that won’t save. I clicked around but I want to tale a look at it before the developers come in to check it on Monday.
