    Hi,

Image Optimizers will only work for images uploaded for your blog posts, pages and other plugins, but it will not optimize GD images.

WP DB Optimizer won’t have any effect on GD too.

I believe the biggest difference in speed between our demo and your website is represented by the server hosting it.

What kind of server is your website running on?

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Currently it’s Cloudways’ Digital Ocean 1gb ram and I have almost no user activity. Do you suggest that if I get a bigger server it will run faster?

Also I would appreciate if you give me some idea on server set-up, since I’m totally new to this. For example how much ram should I designate to PHP? Or maybe there are some other tweaks that I could use.

    Thank you.

That’s the exact same server we use. How many plugins do you have installed other than GD and its add-ons?

    That could be another reason…

    Let us know,

    Thanks

i’ve heard of a plugin tester called P3 Profiler, a plugin performance testing addon:

I would not suggest to use that plugin. It is misleading to say the least. Query Monitor is a professional tool. P3 Profiler is not.

    Thanks

I have also buddy press and bbpress, akismet, Contact Form 7, Social Login, Yoast SEO running and a few others associated with them like bp x-profile field and pb search and activity plus, actually now that I think of it, it’s quite a lot.
I guess now I know the reason, why it’s slower than yours. Thank you Paolo, sorry if I bother you.
I will use that plugin mentioned by step8601 and see how I can improve it. Thank you step8601.

Don’t use that pluing, it is really not useful, the opposite.

    Thanks

    Got it, thank you.
What about php memory do you have any suggestions on that part?

If you are using all the memory allocated to PHP, pages would throw errors. Increasing it will not accellerate the process of loading pages.

You probably need more CPU too.

    thanks
