The page headings default as H2 rather than H1 which is better for SEO. Where can I change this default for location category pages?

With GDV1 this is usually controlled by your theme.
If you are using GDV2 and the GD Post Title element you can choose between H1 and H2 and H3.

Are you using a GD Post Title element to display the Title?
If so, then alter that element to output an h1.

Can you share the page you are working on? Is it an archive? Is your theme delivering the title?

That is an Archive and the element cannot be changed without customization, but I will flag your topic for the developers in case they have a comment or a workaround.

Should this not also apply to all category pages too? The location pages now show H1 after the latest update, but the category page headlines are still H2.

    Hi John,

Are you using the Directory Starter theme, if so the changes were in 2.0.0.5, if not please start your own support topic where we can assist further.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Apologies; I thought this was a core plugin issue. I’ll start a new topic.
