Very disappointing!
I really would have thought it is logical for the widgets to line up properly and not display them all over the page.
So we are basically out of options here, none of them worked to achieve something which I would have estimated to be quite simple.
How much work would you think this is? Understand that you can’t give me a quote but are we talking an hour or a week?
When we upgrade to GD V2 do we have to then pay for this customisation again?

Different themes have different options. You could contact the theme author to ask them for the feature you want to implement, or why they don’t already have it.

This is a theme layout issues that we won’t be able to help with. For what it’s worth you should not have this problem with GDV2 because there are no widget areas that ship with the core plugin anymore.

I recommend you contact the theme author to ask them for the feature you want, or try a 3rd party plugin to give you some more options.
