How to only show blog posts on my blogs page.

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    on https://brazilianjiujitsu.ie/blog/ ALL of my posts are showing here.

    I do not want competitions/seminars showing on this page.
    I only want the “blog” category posts showing here.

    Hi shane mc,

    Thanks for your post. I’d like to clarify that the blog page will always display the latest post and there isn’t an option that allows you to filter it with categories.

    Kor is right, and some people choose to link to one of the blog categories instead.

    That can’t be correct or there must be a workaround?

    Before updating from GDV1 -> GDV2 my “blog” tab on my website would only show blog posts that I had placed in the category of “blog” none of the other posts would show up there.

    How can I have blog category tagged posts only show up in “blog”?

    You can make the menu link to that category listing.

    So by making the menu link to that category listing only my “blog category” posts should show on that blog page ? 🙂

    that’d be perfect, how do I go about doing that (sorry if that’s a stupid question)

    Open the page, copy the url from the browser address bar.
    Open your site menu options
    WP – Appearance – Menus
    Add a custom link with that URL
