How To Remove Popular Categories & Search Bar from Category Pages

    Hello,

    I’d like to remove the top section of the category page where it shows Popular Categories and the search bar. I would like to keep the Category description and the search bar below that. Can you give me some css to add or tell me where I can find the code to remove this section? Thanks.

    Also, I would like to change the homepage text of Popular Categories to something else. Where can I find this to make the change?

    Hi Christian,

    #1 Those are just widgest, remove them under the GD listings top section.

    #2 The simplest way would be to translate the them .po file and upload it as a theme translation, you would search for “Popular Categories”
    Its similar to this: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
    Except you would put it in the folder /wp-content/languages/themes/ instead of /wp-content/languages/plugins/
