How to set the map to satellite mode by default?

    How to set the map to satellite mode by default? Please explain like I’m 5. Super new to Geodirectory.

    I had to create an account just to post this so other people don’t waste their time with code snippets from the link above.

    Just use this as the shortcode, and your map is in satellite view:

    [gd_map map_type='directory' maptype='SATELLITE']

    This needs to be documented.

    Hi Alan,

    Thanks for your reply. The code snippet I’ve shared above will change the map to satellite mode in detail listing tabs and the shortcode that you’ve shared can display a GD map with satellite mode. Thanks for sharing.
