After changing from http to https I’ve had issues with certain functions on the website. Widgets such as cpt categories and popular post categories as well as the homepage map display no listings.
If I go in to each location and load one listing from each category it shows in that location but I have over 5000 listings across 2000 locations.
I’ve tried saving GD permalinks and then WP permalinks with no joy, the WP database was changed from http – https. Surely this can’t be general practice when switching from http – https with geodirectory?
Thanks.

April 10, 2018 at 7:45 pm #425840Also noticed I’m getting hentry errors on Google webmaster tools.
Spoke to yoast to see if it’s something they can sort when I upgrade and get the configuration pack due to other things such as %%categories%% not working.
They said they can look at the other stuff but not the hentry as it’s to do with the theme?
Thanks.
April 10, 2018 at 10:40 pm #425851Hello,
Your location page is also set as your gd home page in GD – Permalinks.
Once you fix that, please resave permalinks. If your other issues don’t clear up, please send us a URL where we can see each issue.
http -> https is a general WordPress issue, and is not specific to Geodirectory. Geodirectory sites often need a secure site to make use of advanced features, though, so we try to be helpful. However, you should consider hiring a developer if you need more help with WordPress support.
April 10, 2018 at 10:52 pm #425855I thought I had to have the location page set as GD home?
Or do I set my actual home in there?
I was saying once I changed the http – https things went wrong with widgets and so forth.
I don’t understand why wordpress would offer me support regarding my listings not showing while navigating with widgets.
Thanks.
April 11, 2018 at 12:45 am #425885Each Geodirectory page should be a different WordPress ‘page’.

If I select hide empty categories it shows no categories under the map.
Thanks
April 11, 2018 at 8:22 am #425945After reading
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
I switched back to GD home – location.
I think that’s saying if I use my own homepage I still need to have gd’s own homepage set and not mine in gd permalinks.

Thanks.
