We have a site where our site is working well in HTTP, however when we move it to HTTP the images are not loading correctly as there is a piece of the image path that is being pre-pended to the secured image path. It manifests itself by no images appearing on the HTTPS site.

You can see this when viewing http://gothunts.com vs https://gothunts.com

Do you have any idea what is causing this? Is there something dynamically regenerating the URL’s for the HTTPS version of the site?

I cannot see any problem on https://gothunts.com/
Can you explain a bit more please?
    Thanks

Make sure that you have the same values in the settings at:

WordPress – Settings – General – Site URL / Site home URL

The problem ended up being that there were some development URL’s still present from when we moved the site. A search/replace from HTTP to HTTPS fixed it all.

    Thank you!
