I need to be able to search by state

How can I accomplish this? Advanced Search doesn’t seem to do it.

I also need to display locations by state based on a hyperlink. As in, “Click California to see all locations in California”. It’s okay if I need to use a URL query in the hyperlink, but nothing seems to work.
