The following image are much “darker” on my WP Supreme Directory than other WP Sites-same images. I searched for documentation see how I can improve but did not find any.

Any place I can make adjustments?

I had another one-same situation as # 1 but I changed the image.

I think that is purely because the image you use there is fairly small:
http://www.supremecityguides.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/201_salsa-dancing-300×104.png
It gets stretched and looses its quality.

At least 800 wide if not 1024.
