    i was am trying to import GD listing with Chinese characters, after several time failed, i found out the problem is coming form the language issues, it is ok to import csv in English, would like to any solution about it?

    Hi,

    you should be able to to import with Chinese characters, but both the CSV and Database collation must be correct.

    I asked to the developers to jump in and help us, if you provide a link, wp-admin and phpmyadmin (or cPanel) credentials, and the CSV file that is failing to import, they will follow up.

    Hello Meow,

    After testing import with file you attached, we got message “3 / 6 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type/invalid characters used in data.”.
    So listing contains invalid characters will not be imported. You have invalid characters in post titles of last 3 listings.

    I have imported csv after replacing invalid characters with Chinese characters and it successfully imported.

    P.S.
    If you have WP_DEBUG enabled in wp-config.php then you could see log errors for listings which are not imported.
    Also you could see message after import process finished about import status. Messages are displayed with css class .updated, but may be you have hidden those messages via custom style.
