    Hi

I need to import all my listings from a csv file and have the address separated into the fields: street, town, county, postcode.

How do I set up the fields in GD so that I can match these on import? The address field at the moment is one text field and there are also longitude and latitude coordinates shown – which I don’t have.

Could you advise what to do to set this up correctly please so that the address and postcode are correctly picked up by GD and google maps on the front end?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching us. Just letting you know that the longitude and latitude coordinates are mandatory for imports. Refer to this section of the documentation for more information https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#import

    Thanks!

    Hi Kor

thanks for your reply. So I need to have them in my data prior to import? Is there no way around that so that GD and Google Maps just uses the postcode?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

There isn’t another way, unfortunately. Here is a link that would help you generate the correct longitude and latitude for your imports. https://www.latlong.net/

    Thanks!
