Hello dear support team,
I would like to import the meta title and the meta description for the landing pages via csv file. Google crawls otherwise but does not keep the entries in the index.
And to edit this manually is infinitely time-consuming.
What are the field names for the csv file fot meta title and meta description
Thanks and best regards – Markus
October 8, 2019 at 9:21 pm #512172Hi Mark Wolf,
Thanks for your post. You mentioned “landing pages” and do you mean the pages on your Website? Or the listings?
October 8, 2019 at 10:07 pm #512180GD doesn’t have individual meta fields for listings. GD has settings for patterns for them, only. There isn’t a way to export those as they are dynamically generated.
You will want to be looking to your SEO plugin for a solution.October 8, 2019 at 10:16 pm #512186Tx Kor for at so late hour 😉
Example: Google lists an address entry for a city hall after a first crawl.
The link goes to a detailed entry in the directory cpt Authorities / City Halls.
There is no meta title and no meta description within that entryHow i do import new entries
1. I create a new address entry in WP for a category. e.g. CPT Health / Category Pharmacies
2. i export the category with the snippet categorie export into a csv file
3. i add additional items to this file
4. i import the csv file
I do that for all 3 languages into the three differnt language categoriesBut I don’t find a field for the meta title or the meta description in the firtst exported file. So I cannot import these important fields with the added entries.
I would like to know if these fields exist and what they are called.

Sorry my English is not able to explain that better. Please ask if anything is not clear.
Have a nice night – Mark

thank you also very much Alex for the answer to so late hour.
Hey you work hard for your great project 😉There isn’t a way to export those as they are dynamically generated.
Your answer is disappointing. is there really no way to import meta title and meta description? I would also hire a programmer because that is essential for the visibility of the address entries in the search engines. But i need some information.
What use are 100,000 great addresses if they are not in the index because of missing meta data?If they are dynamically generated, there has to be a VAriable that contains the content from which they are generated.
I would like to import the meta text for title and decription into these variables.
I think it’s extremely important, because what’s the point of google and co including the entries in the index only marginally, because there is no differentiated meta description or meta title.
Manually this is not possible with a large number of addresses. I would need 100 years to do this.
Best regards, Markus

October 8, 2019 at 11:31 pm #512199GD does not have anywhere to store that information, so, this is not a GD issue, really.
SEO plugins store that information. Which SEO plugin are you using?
Try search for “CSV Import meta” for that SEO plugin. Then export your listings and use spreadhsheet functions to make the title and meta values you want to import.
