in the csv file category will only accept a capital E and in default category it will only accept a lower case e, so editing the CPT name isn’t an option. Or is it?

I am confused now. Why would you edit the CPT name? We are only talking categories, right?
If you are worried about the upper and lower case, you can just use the slug of the category instead. So make sure the categories are created first, and copy and paste the slug into the CSV file.

Can’t use the slug either as it’s all lower case and the cover file converts all entries to upper case first letter

I tried uploading it as is, with the lower case e but got a http error

Are you using open office or libreoffice as recommended?

I’ve never seen any of them changing text format automatically, nor any members having similar problems.

You must be doing something wrong.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    I just changed :

line 57 both with lowercase e: Places To eat
line 58 and 59 both with uppercase E: Places To Eat

Just place the cursor over the cell with the content that you want and press ctrl+c, then move into the cell that you want to edit and press ctrl+v and enter.

You can also do a search and replace, which would be faster.

    Thanks
