Hi, testing the csv import facility and noticed that GD won’t accept listings without the address data for latitude and longitude. Also noticed that these are automatically generated when entering address from the WP admin (using Google Maps API). Defining lat/long could be a bit tedious especially when trying to import a large amount of listings. Is there a way to leave the lat/long fields empty on csv import and make the auto-resolution work after that? Using latest version of WP and GD core. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

lat and long are mandatory to correctly import via CSV.

You can leave them blank, but there is no tool that would gather them later. You’d need to enter into each lsiting and click the set address on map button.

There are tools like this one that return a list of lat and lon from a list of addresses: https://www.doogal.co.uk/BatchGeocoding.php or http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/

    Thanks

    Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, the lat/long fields are mandatory and here is the section of the documentation for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#mandatory
