IMPORT of Listings not working

    Hi, trying to bulk upload my initial listings and it’s not working.

    Here’s the error.

    37 / 37 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

    Used Google Open Docs to import and re-export file because of the issue with Excel.

    Still same error … any advice please?

    Is it ok to have Tags in the upload?

    Is there anything in the data that might be tripping this up?

    Do the commas in the tags field or the content fields affect anything? You would figure they’re ok in there because of content however I deleted them, re-uploaded them and still get the same error.

    Is there anyone that can help us with this issue?

    As you can see we reply a lot faster, but this is not a chat, so please don’t expect immediate replies.

    To be able to check why it is not importing, we would need to have a look at the CSV file, make sure to zip it before uploading it here. (you should be only using open office or libre office that is what we recommend, not excel nor Google Open Docs).

    We would also need access to your website, so please provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply.

    Hi Paolo,

    Sorry .. yes I saw you replying to others and we waited .. just that we tried many things and were in need of help.

    We have committed big to GeoDirectory recently and yes the expectation was something else. We will adjust accordingly … thanks for your valued support.

    We have been exporting using Google Docs because in the past Open Office requirements worked there. We are now downloading this application so we can import, then export a CSV file .. and we will try the importing again into your platform.

    I will be sure to report back ASAP so hopefully if there’s an issue, I will get in your queue sooner rather than later. Thanks again!
