Import Problems

    Hi
    Until recently I was able to import all my data without any hiccups until about a month ago. I have tried almost everything I could think of to find the cause of the problem to no avail. When I do an import (from 5 – 2000 lines) the system only imports the post content, post categories, tags (see Attachment 1 – Exported result). The result is that there is no name, all the post details (tel nos etc) are missing, and instead of placing the post in the city where it is meant, it is placed in my default city. I am really out of ideas. Please help.

    Hi,

    there must be something wrong in the CSV file.

    Please provide a copy of the last imported, a link to your website and admin credentials and we will have a look.

    Hi Paolo

    I am attaching 2 files. The first one is a csv (City View 80) converted from Excel file that I used to import about 7500 posts with – successfully, then when the trouble started I made use of Open Office – to create a csv (City View 81) with the same disappointing results.

    Hi Kiran

    I was able to correct the mistake in the data sheets, and it is importing without a problem now. I will do the alteration in the wp-config.php file at a more convenient time, but but for now I am very pleased being able to continue.

    Thank you very much for your assistance. The service I have received so far from the GeoDirectory team and community was fantastic. Thanks again.
