Import rules regarding Latitude and Longitude

    I have a mixed .csv file of many Countries. Many of the Non-U.S. Countries data do not have the Latitude and Longitude.

    Can I still attempt the import with “mixed” (some have latitude and some do not) Lat/Lon data?

    If not, then can I do a separate import where I take out and make two .csv files. One with Lat/Lon and one without?

    Every location on earth has a lat and a lng: http://www.latlong.net/

    You cannot import listings without a lat and a lng if the CTP requires an address:

    You can do imports in as many stages as you like.

    Ok.. so if I set “address not required” and… they provide and address will it still show up on the map with the listing? Or is this a silly question?

    You can only make ALL listings in a CPT either with or without an address, you cannot mix and match within a CPT:
    With addresses: http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/
    Without addresses: http://wpgeo.directory/online/

    Thank you for the examples. The link for finding the lat/lon is very helpful as I have the locations address but not the lat/lon and this site you referred me to is of great help. http://www.latlong.net/
