Hello,
Please see screenshot. I have tried three times to upload the list on separate dates. My importer gets stuck at 1710/1717 (99%) every single time.
Any suggestions/ideas to try for solution? A diagnosis would be awesome.

BSeptember 8, 2015 at 7:06 pm #52477Hi,
settings values for max_execution_time & max_input_time to 3000 (or a higher value) in your php.ini should work.
Could you please try and let us know?
Thanks
September 9, 2015 at 9:57 am #52534Hi Paolo, didn’t work unfortunately. Any other ideas?
September 9, 2015 at 11:34 am #52543Hi Brian,
Maybe it’s something in the listing causing it, can you try moving the last 20 or so listing to the start of the file and if it then fails a 1% then you know it’s an error in a listing?
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks,
Stiofan

September 13, 2015 at 3:09 pm #53022Hi Stiofan,
No luck. Got stuck at final 1% again.
The list I’m trying to upload came from an export from gd_places, another list in geodirectory.
I couldn’t find the original CSV I uploaded to create this list, but what I’m trying to upload now came from an export from another directory using the export feature.
What I did was export the file, opened in Google Drive excel to remove the last 20 items, then saved and downloaded the file and imported it onto my GeoDirectory.
Could using Google Drive excel affect the file? I do recall reading somewhere about this issue. I also used Google Drive excel for my original files uploaded to gd_places.
Edit: What I changed in the file are two columns: post_category, and post_type. If these were incorrect, would the upload still suggest 99% have been imported?
September 14, 2015 at 6:27 pm #53148Hi,
you shouldn’t be using Google Drive excel to manage your CSV files. Please try with Open Office or Libre Office.
Let us know,
Thanks
September 15, 2015 at 1:07 am #53186Hi Paolo, I used Open Office to convert and change. I’m still stuck at final 7 items (1%).
I’m trying some other stuff as well. In the mean time, any other ideas to test out?
September 15, 2015 at 1:21 am #53187Hi Brian,
can you please send us the CSV you are trying to upload and possibly the URL and admin credentials of the website were it is failing?
Thanks

I’ve asked to the developers to have a look at this for you.
We’ll come back to you asap.
Thank you
September 19, 2015 at 10:28 am #53640Please check now, the function was messing up when it did not have multiples of 10, and for the last import it was importing 7 but reporting 10 processed which confused it, so i have fixed that part which stopped it at 99%.
Also if you don’t have the posts in your wordpress then you should remove the post_id numbers otherwise this can cause problems.
I applied the fix and removed the post_id numbers and all worked fine.
Thanks,
Stiofan
September 19, 2015 at 7:20 pm #53700Awesome, noted for future imports.
Thanks Stiofan!
One last Q: How can I erase my gd_place entries? Since it’s default, I can’t delete it via custom post type.

September 21, 2015 at 2:52 pm #53917Hi,
you must delete the listings from Places. You can click on screen option (top-right) and increase the number per page to speed up the process.
Thanks
