    Hi,

I’d like to include a button within a tab module, however “<button>test</button>” doesn’t seem to render as a button. Is there a way around this?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

You will have to tell the button what to do, like add a link to it.
A button is just a dressed up link, for example

    <a href="https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/include-button-code-within-a-tab/">My button</a>

    See also https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_button.asp

    Thanks

I did try this: <button type=”button”>Click Me!</button>, however the literal characters are displayed rather than the button itself – see the attached screenshot.

That means you did not add it as code, but in a visual mode, or as text. What sort of custom field are you adding it to?

You’re right, my bad. I added a [button link=””] element and got it working. Thanks!
