Increase # of popular categories in featured area

Hi – I want to change the number of categories on the feature home page from 5 to 6 and have looked for the code:

echo do_shortcode(‘[gd_popular_post_category category_limit=5]’);

in:

/wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php.

However, for some reason the code is no longer there. Have you recently updated the theme? I did hide the popular categories at one stage by adding the following: .featured-area .geodir-cat-list {display: none;}. Could this have somehow corrupted my geodirectory-compatibility.php file?

Also, one of my counties is showing http://mysite.co.uk/location/united-kingdom/essex-1/. I can’t see where the duplication of essex has occurred. I did at one time try to set up a dedicated link to Essex in the Widget area but this has been deleted. Is there any way of testing where the duplication has occurred or do I need to delete every place in Essex and start again?
