Hi all,
I’m new in this forum and the plugin GD too.
I bought and installed GD succesfull on 2 website by xampp, but now i need help about some think.
1. I can turn off the map? For 1 website need approximately address not the right address.
2. How can I set the map, no for town but for country o world?
3. I need to set different dimentions for thumbnail in the category page.
4. Can I remove the tab in the user page.
5. How can I insert a form for any user page for contact the user without show the mail?
6. How can inset a editor for review form?
7. for any field in the insert new place can I insert a link or pop-up for explanations.Thank u for your time

1 you can remove the maps from everywhere, but the add listing form. GeoDirectory works with addresses and lat and long coordinates, not with approxiamate data.
2 You need to install the multi location addon and set it up with the locations you want to use.
3 That will require a customization of the templates and css.
4 Tabs can be modified via hooks and action filters (code functions only) at the moment.
5 Each listing provide that already : Send Enquiry link is in the sidebar of each listing
6 Review are comments, any wordpress plugin capable of adding a rich editor to post comments form should do the job.
7 it would require a customization of the add listing form template.

Thanks for the reply.
Also I would also remove rewiews, points and favorites (I would like to only see the photo and the name) in the thumbnails category. How can I do?

I tryed to install a different template did on myself but is always same to geodirectory template.
I need this page template configuration (top to bottom):
1. Foto of logo (same to thumbnail in the category page)
2. All the geo content find in right bar i need close to logo’s photo on the top with no address.
3. no tabs. I’d like to have this line profile description, gallery, video, reviews.
4. change the name for all form link.
5. change all message form.
6. Relate listing i’d like to have a button on the right bar “see my wishlist”How can I do it?
I know some modify will do by code, I’d like to have some help by You, guide some things to help me to do.

to achieve such things, you have to modify the templates. How experienced are you with PHP, HTML and CSS ?

The concept is that you can modify mostly everything via hooks and action filters in your theme functions.php file. We will provide many examples.
