    Hello,
I’d like to use an external hosting service such as cloudinary to serve up the images that are uploaded to my geodir site. But, it appears that geodir stores/uses a relative url to the server upload directory (retrieved by wp_upload_dir call). Is there a way to have geodir use a fully qualified url when displaying a an attached photo?
If not, can I put this in as a feature request?
    Thanks,
    Lynne

Photo tab and slider uses fully qualified image url. Please tell me where you see relative images.

Give me the link to your page

    Thanks

    HI Lynne,

If you run GD Booster and use max CDN it will serve them from there, i found it works really well.

    Thanks,

    Hi Giri,

I’m looking at the relative urls stored in the the file column in wp_geodir_attachments and featured _image in wp_geodir_gd_place_detail. The geodir code builds the fully qualified image urls by calling wp_upload_dir and appending the relative with the baseurl I guess to answer my own question, I think I can override the baseurl returned by wp_upload_dir for the upload directory to point to my CDN.

And Thanks for the tips Stiofan… I’ll take a look at GD Booster and Max CDN.
