Good Day,
I am building a Real Estate Website with a plugin other than GeoBD.
I love this plugin, although a bit heavy with Widget Areas though but the issue that I have is that when a Real Estate Listing is clicked on it opens a page with the details (NOT GEO-D PLUGIN), etc. as well as a map of my listing. Underneath this map is a near places area which display restaurants, etc. nearby.Where Geo Directory comes in is that I use this plugin for a different section of my site. This plugin however interferes with my Near Places section. The page displays the Near Section Container but with no map and near places info… Only the container – I suspect an API of sorts as I know that Java won’t run two instances on one page of a single API…etc, etc.
The issue though is that I am not running GeoDirectory on this page apart from a recent GeoListing Widget in the sidebar displaying the latest Business Listing. Also if the issue was an API, wouldn’t the map section above the near places do the same thing?
I am a little bit lost on this one…it is definitely Geo-D affecting as when I disable the plugin, everything goes back to normal…
Please advise if possible…
I am not great with threads and forums so if this is in the wrong place, let me know and I’ll move it.Kind Regards.
March 24, 2017 at 8:08 am #369461Hi Bruce,
Sorry, I’m not really sure if I understand your issue there. Could you please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Also, please include some screenshots regarding the issue you’re facing.
Thanks!
March 24, 2017 at 8:27 am #369464Thank for the Super Quick Response Kor! – That’s refreshing, me being in a different time zone than most developers 🙂
I am building on a local host at the moment, but I have included two screenshots for you. The working one (Geo-D Deactivated) and the result after Geo-D is activated (Not Working).
I have created a second Google API for Geo-D and it still didn’t work. The odd thing though is the map that is working (on both screenshots – top map), but not near places. Again, I don’t have any widgets on this page…on that note as well, please bear in mind that the page in the screenshot is in fact saved as a post (not a page) if that helps.
Any help here would be appreciated as this Plugin is my final option (nothing else seems to work for me). So a solution would be amazing!
Kind Regards,
BruceMarch 24, 2017 at 8:36 am #369468Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the thorough explanation. Sorry, but since the site is on a local install, we won’t be able to help much since we’ve no access to it. Do you think you could push it to a dev URL so we can check?
Meanwhile, I believe the issue is caused by the multiple Google API being used on your Website. But it’s really hard to tell without seeing the backend and doing some inspecting.
Thanks!
March 24, 2017 at 8:43 am #369469Thanks Kor,
The site is going live in the next day or two for testing.
I will let you know then so that you can have a look. Can I just respond on this post?
I would appreciate that – Thank you 🙂
Kind Regards.

No problems at all. Let us know how it goes.
April 13, 2017 at 5:51 am #373249Hi,
We had a discussion previously regarding the GeoDirectory Plugin not working properly on my site with another plugin.
I am sure you can trace back our conversation but if you do need a refresher, please let me know and I will do so.
I have now set up my site and it is live if you would like to have a look. Please note that I would need to switch on the Geo Plugin first before you can see an issue – I haven’t done much work on the plugin yet apart from setting up the Map API’s, etc.
So let me know how and when you would like to go about checking this out.
Many thanks,
Kind Regards.Bruce

You will find that down below by the Nearby section it doesn’t display any details…when the GeoD plugin is switched off, it performs as it should by displaying the nearby info as it should….
Again, I am guessing a Java Script issue due to more than one API’s not working together on a page but I can’t find a work-around…
Let me know,
Kind RegardsApril 13, 2017 at 4:15 pm #373357Just letting you know that I have deactivated the plugin for us to continue development from our side, but when you test, please switch it back on to test.. it will be ok from my side…
Kind Regards.
