Issues w/ Cateogry Top Description

    Hi there — I’m seeing a few issues with the Category Top Description field:

    1) I inserted an image and set it to align left so that I can have text to the right… but it does not align. The text appears beneath instead of to the right. See http://arizonakey.wpengine.com/directory/arts-culture/

    2) Possibly related — after I insert the image using the Media button, I expect to be able to click on it again to open / edit it. But hovering over the image in the editing screen does NOT reveal the edit and delete icons as I would expect.

    3) When I return to edit the category after saving and viewing, it’s empty — no more image and text.

    You may already have access info from a question last week, but let me know if you need it again.

    Hello, you need to insert float left, not align left…please post login details so I can check the rest

    i shouldn’t have to add float:left — when you insert an image from the media gallery you can set alignment via a drop-down in the Insert screen.

    Hello, I’ve set the image to be float left with this css/html code

    <img style="float: left;" src="http://arizonakey.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Sedona-Rouge-Pool-Spa-View.jpg"  width="443" height="295">

    For your other issues…it is probably due to the slowness of your website, because if you’ll let the page to be fully loaded..the text+images will appear in the editor, and so the edit image button (tried with more than one browser and I can see both the text+images and the editor of the images)

    Hi there — yes, slowness is an issue, and I’m seeing the text & images load now.

    But I’m still not sure why the alignment classes aren’t working. When the client goes in to add content to all the Place categories, they shouldn’t have to add inline styles. Don’t you agree?

    Yes I agree, but I think somehow this depends on WordPress, I struggled with this issue many times over the years 🙁
