    Hi,

I got in touch today about a few errors that are showing up when I try to import my csv file, these are the errors:

    Total 494 item(s) found.
494 / 494 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).
494 / 494 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type/invalid characters used in data.

I’ve checked these fields and I couldn’t see the issue, please can you check my csv file for any errors? I’ve attached the csv file.
As the listings are for multiple locations I’m aware I will need to buy the Location Manager plugin to import all the listings, however this won’t fix the issue about invalid characters in my csv file.

    Many Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your post. Please make sure you followed the requirements here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#mandatory . Upon inspecting your CSV file, I’m able to see lots of invalid longitude and latitudes as shown in the attached screenshot. Please correct it and try again.

    Hi Kor,

Thanks for looking into this, it looks like it was because the post_address column had a lot of addresses that had commas in them, so anything after a comma would go into the next column. I’ve amended the spreadsheet to that there shouldn’t be any more commas affecting the structure of the csv. However I’ve tried to submit the csv but it still hasn’t worked and it is still showing the same errors as before. I’ve attached the amended spreadsheet.

Also, I’ve bought the Multilocations plugin and installed it on the site as there are multiple locations for the listings, do I need to do any configuration for it for the export to work? I’ve checked https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#mandatory again and it looks like all the mandatory fields have data, and that there are no commas so data isn’t going into other columns but the import is still showing the same errors.

    Many Thanks,
    Andrew

Sorry, in my last response I attached a csv which still had errors, I’ve attached the correct csv in this response now. However, I have tried importing this csv, but it is still showing the errors from before.

    Many Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hello,

I opened the file. You will need to try to use LibreOffice to edit this file and to use commas as separators.
