Issues with Scrolling (From WordPress Support)

    I had mentioned that I am having an issue with my pages not scrolling and my logo not showing on desktop browsers, but only on pages associated with your plugin. At the request of “Stiofan”, I’m starting a thread here.

    Hi Jim, thanks for giving us the chance to fix it for you.

    Stiofan will need wp admin credentials to make our plugin compatible with your theme.

    You can send them by setting your reply as private, this way only our team will see them.

    If you are don’t want us to enter your back end (we’d understand) you can send us a copy of the theme, we will install it in one of our demos, create the compatibility file and send it to you, so that you can import it.

    Both ways are ok for us.

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the info, usually this is just a case of adding some compatibility code to change the template wrappers but in the case of this theme it is using alot of javascript to do things like smooth scrolling and setting the visibility of the logo. It’s not that it could not be made 100% compatible but it would take alot longer.

    I would suggest you test out GD on another theme, something like 2012 or even try our own theme, you can download it from here: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/GeoDirectory_framework

    We also have several shortcodes which could be used so not to use our own page templates.

    Thanks for looking into this. That’s a bit frustrating, but I can understand not wanting to put a ton of time into it for one theme. I’ll keep this one in mind if it seems like the other ones won’t work well for me.
