Language file not working for me

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Wordpress: 3.9.2
    WPGEO: 1.2.4

    I am editing:

    content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-languages/geodirectory-en_US.po

    and have changed the following:

    msgid “Edit this Post”
    msgstr “Update Your Listing”

    However, even when I check via a proxy (to make sure) it still says “Edit this post”

    Have you uploaded the MO file to the correct directory?

    Make sure you use poedit to change the file so that when saving, it creates the mo file correctly. WordPress actually uses the mo file, not the po file for translations. The po file is just for you to translate it.

    It worked. I had never had to use Poedit before on other software translations, so tanks for the tip
