"Latest Place" sorts by Publish Date not Join Date

Hello,

We have a “Popular Post” widget in the Sidebar. The widget is supposed to show “Latest Members” (places).

But, instead of sorting by “Join Date” it’s sorting by “Last Updated” or “Published” date.

Therefore if an old Member updates their listing they show at the top of the widget, above the New Members.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I am using “Latest” sort.

The “Latest” sort shows the most recently updated not the “Latest” places.

Any suggestions Kiran or Guust?

The query is ordering by “post_date” which is when its added.
This should only be updated on add not on update, i did some testing and could not replicate this, if you can please let us know how.
