Limit ability to create Listing

    Hello

    Is there a way to limit who can create a business or organization listing in GeoDirectory to the user role of “Author”, Editor, or Administrator?

    Usually a membership management plugin of some kind is needed for that, for GDV1 at least.
    GDV2 has a feature to exclude roles from the WP Backend/Dashboard. You could then use it to exclude all but some roles, thereby granting those roles the ability to add listings from the backend. That feature won’t help you control access to the add-listing page on the frontend, though. For that you would need some kind of membership plugin, again.
