    Hi Paolo,

I was wondering if there is anyway to limit the number of times a selected package can be used?

Basically I want to offer a discounted “Try Before you Buy” option, similar to the free trial option, but I want to charge a nominal fee, i.e., €1, $1 £1 etc. (can this be done using the free trial option?)

I have set up a price plan, however I want to limit the number of times this option can be used as otherwise user will continuously choose this option and ever opt for the full premium option.

Which leads me to another question.
If I do use the Free Trail option, can a listing owner cancel their subscription and then re-select, thus getting another free trial?

    Thanking you in advance,

    Shane

    Hi,

it is not possible to limit the number of time a package can be selected.

Yes a user could cancel his free trial and start it over, it would be part of the work of the website admin to catch that.

    Thanks

    Thank you Paolo.

While I have you, another quick question.

If I set up a premium price plan which lists for 1 year (365 days) which can upgrade to a Featured add-on (30 days), when it expires back to premium, how does that effect the listing duration of the original price plan?

Is the 30 days added onto the 365 or does the duration run concurrently leaving the listing expire on the original renewal date? I assume the recurring payments are established by PayPal and so renews on schedule but just want to confirm.

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Subscriptions in Paypal are not cumulative.

The 1st will last 365 days and the second will make 30 of those 365 days featured.

It will leave the original expiry date set with the 1st subscription.

    Thank you
