I keep getting this error while working on my site: “This account has reached its limit of concurrent processes.” My hosting company says it’s probably related to the WordPress Plugins and Themes, but the only ones I have installed are for GD. What do you suggest?

Just to be clear, the error obviously comes from the hosting company – I’m not saying its a GD error message. They say:
“The error that you are receiving: “This account has reached its limit of concurrent processes.” is placed on the page on purpose to indicate that you have exhausted your allotment for the concurrent PHP processes on your site.

This issue may come from the number of plugins, a corrupt plugin, or a plugin that’s just running in a loop. When this happens, it can start to take up the memory on the server.

If you happen to have a WordPress site, it could potentially be an issue with your chosen set of plugins and themes “together.

Which company are you hosting with?

Did they, or, can they give you any logs to tell you more about where the issue is coming from?

    Hello Kendra,

I checked error log and there are some database query errors there, that could be a reason.
Please provide us a site link and admin credentials and FTP credentials to look into more.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

I’m trying to backup my site so I can try reinstalling everything, but I can’t seem to backup the GD settings. I went to the Settings place and downloaded it, but then I immediately tried to reupload the .json file and I got this error “json file is not valid.” Before I try with a fresh start, can you let me know what the error for the json backup could be about?

    Hello Kendra,

Recent WordPress version has restricted some mime types for uploading. We have fixed it from our side.
It will be in next release.

    Please try this patch: https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/pull/620/commits/e2b65a75e57169d9095c6d1f2fae22620720da71
