limit profiles for user

Is there a way that we can limit the number of Profiles a user can have, yet still keep it free, because we will be using gravity forms to sign a user up and push that through buddypress, and then forward them straight to add profile page?

I should say Listings, not profiles.

Hi,

the system doesn’t provide any way to limit the number of listings a user can submit.

It would require a customization.
