Link preview on facebook is showing dummy content that has been deleted

When I post a link to the home page on Facebook it shows the link preview text as the info that was included in the dummy data even though it has been removed
I followed a link to the facebook debugger but I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do with it
How do I get the snippet info as shown on the Yoast section to show up on both facebook and Google

Hi,

Debugger will crawl your page again and use the latest info for that URL.

For support about Yoast SEO plugin, you’ll have to ask to them directly.

Taking yoast out of the equation as it was doing it before I installed the plugin and only did so to try and alleviate the problem
Can you please explain why the deleted dummy content is appearing in the link preview on social media?

Because that the last info Facebook crawled and cached for your page. If you use the debugger it will crawl your page again and use the latest info for that URL.
