Hi
I am creating a website
On one hand, they are places, organisations.
On the other hand, they are members.
I have created a few places/organisations.
I have created a few members with Users WP.
I want that when we display a place/organisation members who belong to that place are displayed.
A member belongs to only one organisation.
But an organisation can have a few members.
I would like to know how I can link an organisation with a few members.
Example
There is an organisation which called Group A.
In group A there are User 1 2 3.
When I register group A I want to be able to specify that user 1 2 3 belong to group A.
How can I do it?
Thanks for your help

Thanks for your answer
I was not sure if the addon CPT answer to my need. That why I wanted to be more precise.
So I have bought the addon CPT I have set up in my website.
I have created a CPT
But I don t know how to link new CPT to the users created via userWP
What do you mean by
“You can also just create a custom field “member1url” and add a link to the member’s profile.” ?
You have written this in the previous post
Thanks for your helpJune 5, 2019 at 4:26 am #490914Hi Hannah,
The best way to set this up is to make a new Custom Post Type called “Member Profile”.
GD – Settings – Post Types – Add new
Add that Custom Post Type, then visit the Custom Fields tab for the Post type.
WP Backend – Members (New CPT) – Settings – Custom Fields (Tab)
Add the “Link to Place” field on the bottom of the page by clicking it once. It will show up on the right side.
Now you have a way to link a member to a place!
June 5, 2019 at 1:18 pm #490992Hi Alex
I have created a CPT “Members” See screenshot creation Custom Post Type Members
2/ I have linked Members to places See screenshot “link CPT”
3/ I can find members field when I register a place
See screenshot “member are found in places”
But I don t see any link between CPT Member and UserWP
I want when we register a place we can select users who have been registered via userWP.
How can I do it?
Thanks for your helpJune 5, 2019 at 6:17 pm #491039There is no linking between Users and Listing. The only thing that you can do is select a user as author of a listing.
Anything else would require a customization.
Thanks
June 6, 2019 at 9:43 am #491201Hi
Thanks for your answer
I thought that it was possible according to Alex Rollin
Perhaps there was a misunderstanding.
Are you sure that we really can’t realize such a link between userwp and GD. I have understood that this plugin – userwp- has been created to let us do a link between GD and users.
Regards
HannahJune 6, 2019 at 1:06 pm #491250I’m sorry but you indeed misunderstood.
Thank you
June 6, 2019 at 3:10 pm #491272I thought I was enough clear when I describe my example.
Anyway, can you realize this customization and if so how much is it?
Best regardsJune 6, 2019 at 3:33 pm #491279If you allow me, Alex answer was pretty clear too.
He never mentioned linking members and listings as an option.
He said that as a workaround, you can create a custom post type “members” to do so. IOnly listings can be linked together, users are users and each listing can only belong to 1 user (it’s author)
We don’t do custom work, you can find freelance for hire here:
