    Hi,

Is it possible to link the special offers to the relevant business listing?

I have set up a special offer here http://www.cunninglygoodbuild.com/special_offers/eat-drink-2/made-up-cafe-free-coffee-with-every-breakfast-bap-in-february/

I would like it to link to the business listing here http://www.cunninglygoodbuild.com/places/crieff/eat-drink-1/made-up-cafe/

As you can see I added an offer before and it is in the business listing but this new offer is not showing.

Can you help or make a suggestions as to how this can be fixed?

    many thanks
    Kim

The one offer is created as a whole new listing and custom post type.
The other offer is added to a listing as a custom field.

If you want to link 2 CPTs, please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/

To add offers to a listing, edit the listing’s “Special offer” field.

    Thanks

Thanks very much – I now have it linking to the listings.

Can I just ask please – if I have bulk uploaded listings can I remove a custom field from the listing page?

I have now tried to remove the special offer custom field from the listing (as now the offers are showing twice now that the link is working) however although i have re-activated the field it still seems to be showing on the page? Can this be solved?

    Many thanks

The special offers is a default GD custom field and cannot be deleted.
You can just de-activate it at GD > Place settings > custom fields > special offers > active?> No.
Alternatively, deleting the content of the field should have the same effect.
Or disallowing it from the price packages …
Can’t think of any other way 🙂 [except for CSS but that would be silly] 🙂
