Links are not working anymore

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    HI,

    I dont know what happens, i recognized just now, but before it was working, so thats why, i am posting here, because i dont know, what i did… Thanks for help!

    The right Sidebar- where User can ´create and see there Listing and Favorites:
    The link for the listings is not working- I can create, and see the Bills, but the “my listings” in my case “Meine Einträge” are bringing me back to the index..

    # I deleted the costum css- not working. I checked the Sites- i wasnt deleting ore changing one of them.
    # I have a costum Mainmenu- but i think, that has nothing do do with that.
    # I updated WordPress a few days ago.
    # I dindnt update the Directory Plugins, because i am to afraid to destroy anything- because we are live now- and it was a lot of time and work to get everything like this now…
    # I didnt update any other plugins.

    Please make sure the theme and plugins are updated. If the issue persists, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

    Hi Sven

    if you update the core GeoDirectory plugin (which you did) you MUST update the add-ons as well. If you don’t you can be sure things will not work correctly.

    Please update everything and we will check in case anything is still not working.

    In addition, if you are using BuddyPress, you should use the BuddyPress integration.

    Thanks for reply.

    I did update everything and use the buddypress intergration, but anyway, i never wanted the buddypress stuff- i just need the douple opt In registration, because in Germany it is the law, that i need…

    It is still not working anymore, and i have absolutley no idea why…

    Hi,

    you haven’t set up anything here: http://wellnesshelden.de/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=geodir_buddypress&subtab=gdbuddypress_settings

    If BuddyPress is installed it takes over the author page, so you must setup the plugin to use it completely.

    Hi Paolo,

    now it is working, thanks a lot!!

    … but this is the last what i want… everything is now much more complicated with the integration of buddypress…i hate that 🙁

    Why does it doesnt worked anymore? Did you figured out the reason?

    I believe it probably worked till you installed Buddyrepss, did you try unistalling it?

    Buddypress was aktivated from the beginning.

    It just happend… I had also Premium Membership Pro, but that caused problems with buddypress and Geo. Almst, wasted money…

    Something is making the author page redirect to the home page. Please try to disable all non GD plugins to test this and let us know if doing so made the problem go away.
