Hi,
I’m facing a problem when I try to import updates of my data in the plugin.
Actually it sometimes works; for instance I could importe 120 updates sooner today. But for some reason I can’t identify, occasionally the import doesn’t works.
The problem is that I use everytime the same folder structure. You’ll find a sample attached. Is there something wrong about the organisation of the datas? If yes, why does it works sometimes? If not, what can I do?
Thanks for your answers!
January 5, 2017 at 10:02 pm #337615Hi,
everything looks correct on that file. If you provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply and you attach a CSV that gives you errors, we will verify and debug it.
Let us know,
Thanks

the file is filled with illegal characters, see image attached:
You’ll need to clean that up.
Make sure the file has the right collation to accept to letters with accents before you paste them into it and save.
Let us know how it goes,
Thanks
January 10, 2017 at 11:47 am #340228Hi paolo,
Thanks a lot! I tried to clean the file and it appears it was probably just my mistake; I think I didn’t saved it as an UTF-8 CSV file.
But since yesterday, before trying anything on my plugin, I have another problem. The displayed map was the France one and it’s now a world map. I have fixed a few mistakes but it seems we still have datas near to Africa and when I click on them, I got a message telling me “No result found” (which looks logic considering we don’t have any GPS coordinates in Africa). You can see what I mean in the images attached. What can I do about it?
Thanks for your help!
January 10, 2017 at 7:16 pm #340508If you disable marker cluster you will see that there are errors:
TypeError: $(…).offset(…) is undefined
/wp-content/themes/splendid/js/scripts.js?ver=100
Line 378too much recursion
https://maps.google.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/27/8/intl/fr_ALL/common.js
Line 237One is definitely caused by the theme, could you please ask for support to its author to see if he knows what could be causing it?
I also asked to our developers to have a look and see if they can find the problem.
Let us know,
Thanks
January 10, 2017 at 7:18 pm #340510P.s. please be aware that w3 total cache is not compatible with GeoDirectory and could cause problems.
You should really disable and delete all files and folders it created in your wp-content folder. Thanks
January 11, 2017 at 3:36 pm #341005Hi paolo,
Thanks a lot, I will ask the support of our WP theme what could be the problem you show me.
Oops, I didn’t pay attention the plugin W3 total cache is not compatible with GeoDirectory plugin. I’ll fix it and let you know about it.Thanks!
January 11, 2017 at 3:39 pm #341008Hi Julien,

Thanks
January 11, 2017 at 4:34 pm #341019Hi Giri,
I just tried to contact the support of our WP theme (Splendid) but it appears it’s completely out since last July. So I asked to our developers if they can find the problem and let you know (I red you have been asked too, please tell me if you find something first).
I also disabled the W3 total cache plugin and now the map don’t display. Is it because the page is too slow (considering there are about 8.000 datas on the map)?
Thanks
January 11, 2017 at 5:42 pm #341048Hi Julien,
I may have to disable the plugins and try. You mentioned its a live site. Thats why I can’t debug without your permission.
Let me know if I can disable the plugins for debugging. I’ll take care of it tomorrow.
Please don’t forget to take the backup.
Thanks
January 12, 2017 at 9:37 am #341333Hi Giri,
I just hid the plugins from the menu of our website, you can totally disable the plugins and try to debug it.
Let me know.
Thanks
January 12, 2017 at 2:47 pm #341427Hi Julien,
Seems like the problem coming from your theme.
There is a js from your theme breaking other js.
Could you switch to a wordpress default theme and try?
Let me know if that doesn’t solve the issue.
Thanks
January 12, 2017 at 4:14 pm #341494Hi Giri,
It looks like we are facing a problem here. Our website is already working, we got customers, etc.. We can’t switch to a default theme because it will mess everything up!
We have to find another possibility.
Thanks
January 12, 2017 at 6:03 pm #341545Hi Julien,
Either you install a maintenance/coming soon plugin or you setup a staging server.
It’s very difficult to debug a live website without interrupting the service at least temporarily.
Thanks
