I have two things I would like to accomplish with this.

1) I can’t seem to find my listing to have it sorted by default in ASC alphabetic
2) I have the grid column set to 4 and it only shows 10 listings per page. How do I get it to increase to 12.

HI,

#1 You should be able to set this in place settings>sorting options

#2 this number uses the standard wp setting under Settings>Reading>Blog pages show at most

hello, to increase the post limit, go to the WordPress Settings, (in Settings/Reading) and change the value form 10 to 12.

For the ascending order, this is not natively possible..
EDIT:
Crossposted with Stiofan, I was wrong, this is possible in Place Settings, Sorting Option, then adding the “Title” field and setting it as per the attached screenshot
