Hi,
I have checked settings for packages, each package set to Expire.
I have checked General settings, Enable Expiry is enabled and set to draft.Client provided a listing that did not expire and did not go to draft mode.

December 12, 2018 at 8:31 am #458112Hello Larry,
Your site using old version of GeoDirectory & it’s plugins, and Old version of Invoicing plugin.
Please update those plugins we we can take a look. Also please provide invoice id or url paid for the listing you mentioned in last reply.
FYI the listing paid via recurring package will not be expired/renewed until IPN request received from gateway site(ex: PayPal).Kiran

Hope that makes sense.
January 16, 2019 at 10:11 pm #463584So I can remove recurring from the package and listings created prior to installing Invoicing will expire correctly?
Then I should create a duplicate package with recurring enabled and hide the old package from purchase?
January 17, 2019 at 7:38 am #463669Generally speaking, and in this case, changes made to a package will only effect new listings created with with that package.
What is your goal, with the listings? If you want to expire them, you can just set them to your chosen expired status eg Draft.
January 17, 2019 at 5:11 pm #463747they are currently set that way. but they don’t expire(draft). you stated previously that it was due to the package set as recurring and expecting notification from payment gateway.
we need old listings to expire(send email, change to Draft mode) and renewals/new-signups to be on recurring.
January 18, 2019 at 10:52 am #463909You can set them to a non-recurring package, that will use the settings of the package to expire them.
Recurring packages will only expire based on a notification from the payment gateway, impossible for listings that are not connected to a subscription in a gateway.January 28, 2019 at 7:10 pm #465852Hi Alex, do you have recommended method to transition old listings to recurring packages?
January 28, 2019 at 7:20 pm #465853Hi Laurence,
Do you mean you want to bulk edit old listings? If you are, you can possibly try the import/export method https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/
Thanks!
January 28, 2019 at 7:24 pm #465854Well, I mean more for the customer. If they have a listing on a non-recurring package, get the email to renew, can we have them sign up on the recurring package instead on renewing the non-recurring package?
January 28, 2019 at 7:28 pm #465855Renewing means staying on the same package.
What you need to ask them is to let the old package expire and later update using the new recurring package.
Thanks
