    Hi guys,

Final testing on my development GD1 to GD2 upgrade site – and noticed that a listing that is “Overdue 3 days ago” is still on the site. Also, when I edit the listing in WordPress Admin area… in GD1 I used to be able to update the expiry date over on the right hand side… I can not see where to do that any more.

Will post link and password in a minute.

    Thanks very much,

    Adrian

    More info:

In GD Settings – Pricing I have “Expired Listing Status = DRAFT” but expired/overdude listings are not moving to DRAFT I have noticed. I also note that on the test site I have not been getting emails about renewal (I updated all the listings on the site to have my email address so actual cutomers would not get emails from a development site).

    Thanks

Update here that explains the Missing “Expiry Date”. “Expiry Date” was not active in the CPT Settings, Fields. It is now and that part of this support ticket is sorted.

If you are talking about listings with recurring packages, the publish status is only changed when there is a notification from a remote gateway API.

I would assume your GDV1 site that is still live is the destination for IPN notifications and the like, instead of the development site, so that is why the listings are not changing state.

Thanks Alex, are IPN notifications only on payment? No payment is happening – it’s the listing expiring (without a payment happening) that I am on about.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks,

    Adrian

It is not just payment. If the subscription is cancelled with the gateway then it will expire the listing.
