I had a few issues with my site. My site was deactivated because I was slowing down my server. I upgraded to a personal server and my site has been reactivated. However, none of my listings on Geodirectory are showing up on the frontend, but they’re still there in my wordpress backend? Can you guys help me out? Thanks.
December 16, 2015 at 10:04 am #64017Let’s start with looking at your URL and WP admin details, post them in a private message.
Then we also might need phpMyAdmin details and FTP.December 16, 2015 at 5:51 pm #64083This reply has been marked as private.December 16, 2015 at 6:14 pm #64089Hi,
the server is throwing a 500 Internal Server Error:
“NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – http://ratethetrainers.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ajax_action&geodir_ajax=map_ajax&ajax_action=cat&cat_id=1242&search=&zl=2&gd_posttype=gd_trainers”
Please check with your server provider.
Thanks
December 16, 2015 at 6:17 pm #64090Sorry about that, I believe it is because I was still logged in. I fixed the issue. You should be able to log in.
December 16, 2015 at 6:21 pm #64091Hi,
it isn’t a login issue. That is the query for the location map for example. The server is returning error 500 and the plugin isn’t able to return listings.
Only the server admin can track down this and fix it. It is a server configuration problem.
Thanks
December 16, 2015 at 6:22 pm #64092Im not sure I understand what you mean, what should I tell my server provider?
December 16, 2015 at 6:33 pm #64094Hi,
You can tell them:
this link returns a 500 Internal Server Error: http://ratethetrainers.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ajax_action&geodir_ajax=map_ajax&ajax_action=cat&cat_id=1242&search=&zl=2&gd_posttype=gd_trainers
It should return a JSON response with results from that query.
Why?
Thanks
December 20, 2015 at 1:22 am #64564I spoke with my server provider, and my php memory has been increased. Can you try accessing that page again? It doesn’t return a 500 Internal Server Error, but it does return a 404 page error. Which is better than the 500 error because I think it will be easier to diagnose now. Can you guys see what the issue is now?
December 20, 2015 at 11:43 am #64578I try to run GD Tools, the “Sync GD tags” test throws an error. No idea why.
This folder is empty, so no images: /wp-content/uploads/2015/12
When accessing the /location page I get this error:
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODINGI can see quite a few listings on the frontend:
/trainers/united-states-1/oregon-1/I’ll hand to Paolo for him to look at closer after the weekend.
December 20, 2015 at 7:35 pm #64604Okay thank you guys. Please let me know. Thank you.
December 21, 2015 at 6:02 pm #64715Hi,
you have 89 plugins installed and 61 active. 🙁 This could be a nightmare to debug…
Can you please start by deleting every plugin that are not used and try deactivating all non GD plugins momentarely to see if the problem goes away?
In any case we will need FTP details to track it down.
Let us know,
Thanks
December 23, 2015 at 6:55 pm #65151Hey guys. I deleted every plugin Im not using. Unfortunately I cannot delete others as it would interfere with my store. Can you please help guys?
December 23, 2015 at 6:55 pm #65152I can’t deactivate***
December 24, 2015 at 12:39 am #65186There is still a stack of plugins you are not using and/or that are not necessary at all, you do not need to delete them, just de-activate them.
There is something logging me out every few minutes. -
