HI! How can I add a line break on a listing below a name. Here is the page in question: http://rmcc.bwwtest.com/view-all-physicians/

After the doctors name, the next line needs to be his field of practice and the next line can say Read More.

How can I do this?

That worked – but I can’t see where to change the character limit for the second line of content on these listings. I tried under GD/Design/Listings and increased it to 200 but no luck.

Can you please point me in the right direction?

I guess that list is generated with a shortcode and in that case it is a shortcode parameter:

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listings

character_count – Number of characters to show from the Excerpt (Min/default = 20)

I figured that part out. Thanks!

But I’m not sure if this is going to give me what I need. I need to show the

Physicians Name – John Smith, MD
Field name – Medical Oncology/Hemotology

Each field name is different and I don’t want to pick up other text from the details page. How can I do this?

I’m sorry but there is no way to do that using the description.

Custom fields would be the only solution for this.

I figured out if I add a bunch of spaces after their title that cuts it off where I need it.

Clunky but I guess that works.

That would require a small code customization… But it is not impossible.

Here for example I explain how to move few elements (that are normally outside) inside the profile tab.
