https://finditsober.com/addiction-treatment/ is only showing blank sections when I use category ID 38. If I change the category IDs, everything shows up fine, just as in my other pages. I have created separate pages for each category ID because my client intends to sell add banner space on each of the pages. I am using Divi Theme. Please help.
December 22, 2018 at 7:55 pm #459728I’m pretty sure it’s the map that’s breaking it
December 22, 2018 at 11:45 pm #459741Hello,
Do you mean this page was created with a shortcode?
Do you know that GD creates pages for each location with category automatically?
So, the issue is that category 38 should show listings but does not?
You can write back with a private reply and include WP Admin credentials so we can take a look at the settings.
I don’t see a map on the page you link but I see the GMaps API is being loaded.
December 23, 2018 at 7:27 am #459767Two shortcodes, actually…inside divi text modules. One on top for the map [gd_listing_map width=100% height=500px scrollwheel=true zoom=11 category=”38″] and one below for the listings [gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” layout=”5″ category=”38″ list_sort=”high_review”] But the map will not load and is breaking the page

December 23, 2018 at 4:34 pm #459818Hi Janet,
Thanks for your reply. Are you working on your site? I can’t seem to find the GD plugin and any other addons. Please let us know when you’re done and we’ll troubleshoot this further for you.
Thanks!
December 23, 2018 at 5:05 pm #459821Now I’m getting this (see screenshot)
December 23, 2018 at 5:27 pm #459824Hi Janet,
Thanks for your reply. We have a similar report from other users and they mentioned that they fixed it by enabling the Geocoding API in Google Map console. Go to your Google Console > API and go to those that are disabled and enable Geocoding. Let us know how it goes.
December 23, 2018 at 7:56 pm #459830I did that, but it still wasn’t working. I finally solved the issue by creating a new category and then assigning that category to the listings one by one, testing each addition to make sure it didn’t break. It did break when I added certain listings (4 of them), so I simply deleted those listings and re-entered them from scratch, I believe I must have made a mistake while entering the listings the first time, and the map could not load. It worries me, because if I allow end users to add their own listings in the future and someone makes the same mistake I made, it may break my site. :/
Also, I still cannot see the map in the “Add Listing” area.
December 23, 2018 at 9:21 pm #459833Now only one map pin is showing on the labs page. https://finditsober.com/labs/
December 23, 2018 at 9:31 pm #459834Please help 😕
December 24, 2018 at 5:52 am #459852Update – I can add listings and set on map via the front end, but not in the backend (via wordpress dashboard)
Any suggestions??December 24, 2018 at 5:32 pm #459881Hi Janet,
I’ve just inspected your Website backend and it looks like you’ve everything setup correctly. I’ll get a developer to check on this asap!
Thanks!
December 25, 2018 at 4:43 am #459912Hello Janet,
There is another Google Map JavaScript API loaded via Divi theme. This causes JavaScript error “google.maps.places is undefined” and breaking the page.
I have disabled it from “WP Admin > Divi > Them Options > General > Enqueue Google Maps Script”, now map is loading fine on add listing page in backend too.
