Hi,
Just installed the Location Manager and got this error:
GeoDirectory permalink error the following rule appears twice: ^author/([^/]+)/favs/places/page/?([0-9]{1,})/?$Try making the GeoDirectory permalinks more unique.
I have set the Perma link like in V1. Should it be any different this time?
July 27, 2018 at 10:27 pm #440051Did you activate it on a fresh install? Please provide a link and admin credentials and we will have a look.
Let us know,
Thanks
July 28, 2018 at 12:12 am #440060I am getting the same errors in my test site.
It only seems to happen if you select something at
WP Settings > Permalinks > GeoDirectory permalinks > Custom baseThe developers will have a closer look.
Thanks
July 28, 2018 at 5:39 am #440077Guust: Nope. I have default. (see image)
Paolo: The only documentation is the blog post. I have installed it via the update process and installed the LMV2 manually.
The install via the GD-Extensions was not possible. Was saying that I have a “Beta” version, but you removed already beta and now also the RC from GDv2.Effect also: You cannot access any place.
Not tested the plugin?
And Paolo your pic about the location switcher in the blog post looks buggy as there are all locations twice in the list.

July 28, 2018 at 5:49 am #440080Now I recognize that I have a different error message:
GeoDirectory permalink error the following rule appears twice: ^places/([^/]*)/?
Try making the GeoDirectory permalinks more unique.
July 28, 2018 at 1:05 pm #440094As already reported I have the same issue with permalinks and cannot access any directory detail entry or category.
AND another problem: after installing location manager v2 gravity forms plugin is not working anymore!
Forms either don’t load at all or on multistep forms when you click “next page” in a form, nothing happens. Next form page is not loading. Thanks for fixing this major bug.
MarcJuly 28, 2018 at 1:18 pm #440095Same issue. Fresh install.
July 28, 2018 at 1:29 pm #440097another bug with with genesis theme – in main menu: submenus are not working anymore, submenu (navigation) are not loading anymore after installing LMV2.
July 28, 2018 at 1:37 pm #440098If I switch to “full location” permalinks then I can navigate to the places.
But as Marc, all the links in the menus (of Primer) are getting weird and are not working.July 28, 2018 at 1:38 pm #440099Submenu (subnavigation) in header not loading
July 28, 2018 at 1:46 pm #440105another bug with with genesis theme – in main menu: submenus are not working anymore, submenu (navigation) are not loading anymore after installing LMV2.
Marc, what child theme are you using? My test site has Genesis Executive Pro and my menus are working fine.July 28, 2018 at 1:52 pm #440112I’m using a custom genesis child theme.

July 28, 2018 at 5:23 pm #440166Paolo: The only documentation is the blog post. I have installed it via the update process and installed the LMV2 manually.
Because there is no change compared to LM V1 other than how settings page look. Documentation remain the same of V1.
The install via the GD-Extensions was not possible. Was saying that I have a “Beta” version, but you removed already beta and now also the RC from GDv2.
It’s written in the blog post that you can only install manually, the install from extension part will be made avail in due time :
The location manager V2 can be installed manually, by uploading the zip file from the plugins page of your WordPress dashboard.
IF WP Easy Updates is updated to its latest version (wpeasyupdates 1.1.6), you can Enable the settings in GeoDiretory V2 to allow the install of BETA Add-ons.
At that point you will be able to update from the Location Manager V1 to V2 BETA automatically.
Effect also: You cannot access any place.
What do you mean?
Not tested the plugin?
Plugin has been tested for over 5 weeks, few bugs are to be expected.
And Paolo your pic about the location switcher in the blog post looks buggy as there are all locations twice in the list.
Thanks for spotting that, I corrected it.
