Location Region

    Hi – did you see my previous reply about the location? I’m looking to determine if I can define a location with essentially different towns or cities.

    Hi,

    The default location can only be 1 city or town, not a region including multiple cities, towns and villages. For that you’ll need the location manager add-on.

    Thanks, so to clarify, what determines the region that a city is in, is it the Google API?

    To retrieve address, country, region, city, zip, lat, lon etc we parse the result that got via Google API search.

    We can also manually override them, like in some cases Google is wrong about regions or just does not return regions for some countries in which case we parse a postcode string to determine and fill out the regions names.
